Things I love: Mascara!

This may seem like a very shallow and worthless post. But because of my passion for makeup, even natural looking makeup, is well known among my friends. I get questions about my faves. So here you are.

1. Great Lash- Every beauty blog will include this very affordable Maybelline mascara. This mascara has an easy and smooth application. The brush separates your lashes pretty well but is in no way a comparison to the more modern mascara wands. Because it goes on with ease, it also comes off with ease. I never wear on a particularily sweaty day or to any water activity. For an affordable option, Great Lash is, well, great. An option would be to alternate between Great Lash and a more expensive mascara, to cover your bases for varying daily activites.

2. Lancome Definicils- This mascara has been a classic for years. It promotes amazing lash definition and separation.

3. Benefit They're Real- Ok so this is my absolute favorite. A waterproof mascara that contains a wand that allows for much definition and separation. This mascara also provides a slight curl to your lashes (really) and with duplicate applications also improves the appearance of lash length. This mascara is hard to take off so purchase a quality eye makeup remover, other than that, it is close to perfect. I seem to go through this mascara faster than my others so I alternate between Great Lash and They're Real depending on daily activities.
